Volunteering
Our family have now arrived in the UK and are settling into their new home and life. For this next phase of our work we are looking for new volunteers with Arabic language skills, ESOL experience or time during the week to help support the family. If you are interested please let us know..

When organisations work together and focus on their strengths, it more than doubles their chance of building a community. Wherever possible, Bermondsey Welcomes Refugees works with like-minded partners who have the same vision. There are a number of ways you can partner with us to support our work, including donating, offering a venue we can use free of charge to hold our fundraising events and donating pieces of work to auction. Get in touch and find out the ways you can work with us.
Through a difficult time, we have managed to raise our target £12k, but we still need to raise more so we can support and settle our family to ensure they are as comfortable as possible.

We aim to support our family relocating to the Bermondsey area and help them to become part of the community. Therefore, we are particularly looking for volunteers who are Arabic speakers and English tutors or volunteers who live locally and have time during the week to support a refugee family.
